Square One has been in existence from the month of March 2006, and the speed at which ‎the band gelled to a gig-worthy standard was for all to see.

After a mere three months of practising a whole 90-minute setlist the band were readying ‎themselves for their first two gigs, at the Tranmere Show and at Jack Rabbit Slim’s, both ‎on the day of the 25th June 2006. Having wowed the crowds for both shows, it became ‎obvious that Square One were going to emerge as a notable force in the local scene, especially during the Mathew Street Festival at the Hogshead in Liverpool on 28th August 2006, and ‎firmly establish themselves as the most impressive Coldplay tribute band around.‎
